It is recommended that dogs that are here for vacation should be dropped off during the morning drop-off, in order to allow for proper playtime and socializing prior to bedtime. The nightly charge includes all daycare activities so if at all possible, please bring your dog early enough to enjoy the entire day! The dogs sleep better at night after a busy day and are more relaxed when sleeping alongside dogs they’ve been playing with all day. If a late day drop off time is needed, please inquire.
All dogs require an evaluation, typically by coming in for a trial day of daycare, before acceptance into the Cageless Boarding/Daycare Program.
The following vaccines are required for all vacationers: Bordetella, Rabies, Distemper and Influenza.
All dogs must be on a flea/tick prevention treatment.
If your dog is on medication, we will administer it free of charge; unless it is injectable. We recommend all meds to be accompanied with a form of a pill pocket to help ensure ingestion. Please communicate any allergies your dog may have.
We require that you bring your dog’s kibble in a clearly labeled large ziplock bag(s). Please bring enough for the full stay plus an extra day in case of emergency. If you feed a refrigerated diet, please bring each day’s meals packaged separately and labeled accordingly.
While here for vacation care, your dog will be fed once or twice a day. Please specify your dog’s feeding routine. All dogs are cooled off prior to feeding and then rested after feeding. For giant or deep chested breeds we may add a bit more time to these periods.
